What is with the parentals these days...?

There have been quite a few stories in the news about negligent, abusive, and just plain stupid parenting lately. For one, there's a kid in China who is 132 pounds. Not bad if you're talking high schoolers, but in this case, it's a TODDLER. A toddler! All of what, 3 years in age?

Ridiculous. These parents obviously don't know a thing about proportions. Sure, there's probably a hormone disfunction in the kid somewhere, but get this closing line of the article: "Lu Hao’s parents have put him on a diet. He is now only allowed to eat one bowl of rice at meals instead of three."

There's the problem, right there. Poor kid.

In other news, every new mother's nightmare happened. I don't blame her for being pissed when she found out that her baby accidently got switched with another, and her kid ended up being breastfed by another woman.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to sue, but hey, I'm no mother. I do agree with her attempt to find out who the other woman was though. Who knows what crack she could have been on.

Though finding out your kid was breastfed by another woman is much better than burying your kid alive.

Again with the Asians... some fella taking a smoke break at work heard some muffled cries and saw dirt move. If I were that guy, I'd would have been searching for the nearest blunt weapon, or perhaps a machete, in hopes that my zombie-apocalyptic adventure had finally begun. Not this guy. No, he digs in the dirt and discovers a newborn babe, umbilical cord still attached, suffocating with a mouth full of dirt and leaves. And a plastic bag around its neck.

What the mother...?

Seriously, people have issues.
